calling to sell subscriptions to the Record (local paper). they are EXEMPT from do-not-call lists.

Caller had heavy Indian accent and asked if I made international calls to India. I hung up.

I have recieved several calls from an Officer Mike Harris from financial invest bureau stating that I owe 400.00 and If I dont pay it he will sending an officer to arrest me and I will do jail time. He said I recieved a loan.I never did and he leave long messages saying my social security number will be affected and he will make sure I pay I am sick of these calls I have blocked this number but he uses several differnt numbers to get through. When you call the number it is a cell phone voicemail and it is the same number on the website he gave me cash advance world. I have seen several complaints this needs to stop.

He said he was a custom's agent, Office Damen Miller, and there was a warrant for my arrest from an 8 yr old purchase from an online pharmacy. He said if I didn't go to Western Union and send $2000 to the DA in Dominican Republic, that US Customs would come arrest, raid my house and face many years in jail. He should be stopped. Calling acting like a law firm. They have called telling me that they are going to serve me with papers and I am being sued. Also that I have a warrant out for my arrest.
